IND vs AFG: Watch - Virat Kohli Entertains Delhi Crowd With His Dance Moves At Arun Jaitley Stadium

Virat Kohli has managed to hog the headlines yet again. The batter with his antics entertained the crowd during the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 match against Afghanistan. Match 9 of the tournament is being played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

India have been asked to field first in Delhi. Virat Kohli has made sure that he made his home crowd go gaga. The batter was seen shaking his leg as the music was being played in the stadium. Seeing him dance, the spectators went berserk.

The video went viral on the internet in a flash and here’s the clip:

Coming the game, India are on top as they have displayed a magnificent bowling performance so far. Jasprit Bumrah drew the first blood for his team as he removed Ibrahim Zadran with the peach. If this was not enough, Hardik Pandya sent Rahmanullah Gurbaz packing as well.

India completely asserted their authority and soon after that Shardul Thakur removed Rahmat Shah to leave Afghanistan tottering at 63/3. The Rohit Sharma-led would be hoping to restrict them to the low total and then chase it.

Virat Kohli no doubt will be crucial for India in the chase. He played a rollicking innings in the last match, where he smashed 85 runs and won the game for his side when they were tumbling at 2/3.

ICC World Cup 2023: Ricky Ponting Backs Virat Kohli To Equal Sachin Tendulkar’s ODI Centuries Record In ICC World Cup 2023

Virat Kohli is on the verge of creating history. The linchpin of the Indian batting lineup is just three tons away from creating the World record and surpassing Sachin Tendulkar’s record of most centuries in ODIs.

The right-hander has smashed 47 tons so far whereas Tendulkar ended his career with 49 hundreds. With the way he’s, batting, the right-hander has a great chance to go past the batting great.

Ricky Ponting however, believes that he will definitely equal the record in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023. He added that the Indian batter deserves all this as he has been doing a lot of hard work. Speaking on the latest episode of The ICC Review podcast, he explained:

“I think he will. I think he’ll definitely get two hundreds, whether he gets the three is another thing. But the venues, the wickets and the grounds in India are just so conducive to scoring, making big runs. Who knows with him, it’s probably his last World Cup as well.

“If he gets that mindset, and we saw that he’s in pretty good touch, and we know with him he’s always hungry. He’s a winner, he wants success for himself and for his team.  There is every chance at the end of this World Cup he could be equal with, if not breaking Sachin’s record, which is remarkable within itself. Forty-nine one-day international hundreds is amazing. But he deserves that, he works hard,” he concluded.
