The Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai hosted the 14th match of the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024) between the Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai Indians (MI) and Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Monday, April 1. Rajasthan Royals (RR) won the toss and as expected elected to bowl first in the match. They made one notable change to their bowling unit as Sandeep Sharma, who was unfit, made the way for Nandre Burger in the playing XI. The decision to have a go with the ball turned out to be excellent for the visiting team as the star left-arm pacer Trent Boult made the Mumbai batters dance to his tunes.
